How it Hangs

Cosy Corks can be hung in multiple ways.

All corks come with a sticky back that is similar to 3M, but you can also use your own mounting tapes or brass hanging nails.

Currently, rectangular boards also have a frame option with built-in gator teeth to hang like any other picture frame, or the wide back is designed to fit mounting tape.

Please read through the details below.

All corkboards are thick enough to protect your walls from any poking pin post while being dense enough to support even the heaviest of pins.

Recommended | Small Nails

Best for your walls and boards.
Using small hanging nails, you can pin through the cork and then into the wall. Makes for an easy move or swapping out of the board with minimal damage to the cork itself.

Just be sure not to pin it too close to the edge, or the cork could split! (If it does, a drop of super glue works great to fix and put things back together)

Built-in | Sticky Back

Best for long-term display but the highest board damage.

Please note that the base sticky back is STICKY! Think wallpaper sticky. Using the whole back is good if you know they will be up on the wall for a while, but removing them will most likely damage the board and leave a residue to be cleaned off the wall.

A way to minimize damage and messes is to only peel off sections of the wax paper. You may not need the whole back.

For removal: using a hair dryer or heat gun to reheat the glue will help the adhesive come off smoother.

Renters | Mounting Tape

If you are already familiar with how a certain brand of mounting tape works on your walls, then feel free to use it for your boards too.

Depending on your brand of choice, the mounting tape may not stick to the wax paper on the back. In this case, just cut and peel up a small section of the wax paper and stick the mounting tape straight to the exposed sticky back of the board. Then mount as normal to the wall.

Can utilize the traditional mounting tape or other versions like Velcro
